Press\u00a0<b data-id=\"entity-ember1172\">Start Virtual Consultation<\/b>\u00a0and away you go!<\/p>\n<p data-id=\"block-ember1173\" data-generated-at=\"15858838974460.586722955069114\" data-align=\"center\">\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/p>\n<h2 data-id=\"block-ember1174\" data-generated-at=\"15858838974460.7408361820577476\" data-align=\"left\">My Personal Suggestion:<\/h2>\n<ul data-id=\"block-ember1175\" data-generated-at=\"15858838974460.763440359800023\">\n<li data-id=\"block-ember1176\" data-generated-at=\"15858838974460.851022202075991\">I suggest adding yourself as a patient or somebody with you in the house.<\/li>\n<li data-id=\"block-ember1177\" data-generated-at=\"15858838974460.280675931582957\">Add the primary mobile number and email address. You can send the unique link again by using this. If the consult is not yet right now, you can use it to send a link early, so they can download the Now Serving app ahead of time.<\/p>\n<p data-id=\"block-ember1195\" data-generated-at=\"15858838974510.8880957078838714\" data-align=\"left\"><b data-id=\"entity-ember1196\">Can I send files and can patients send files?<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-id=\"block-ember1197\" data-generated-at=\"15858838974520.6294820624769051\" data-align=\"left\">Yes. Once you\u2019re in a call, a chat specific for your session will turn on. You can send and receive from there.<\/p>\n<p data-id=\"block-ember1198\" data-generated-at=\"15858838974530.12283055347224558\" data-align=\"left\"><b data-id=\"entity-ember1199\">Will you charge me for Virtual Consults?<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-id=\"block-ember1200\" data-generated-at=\"15858838974540.9272059588864727\" data-align=\"left\">Though it costs us money for each video session along with running and hosting this, we will not be charging for it at least at this time. Contrary to popular belief, video isn\u2019t free. Viber video calls, FB calls, though they may seem free, it costs those companies a lot of money, so they have to get it back somewhere. For us, if you use the Billing module to bill the patient, the added charge helps us at least to cover a portion of the costs we incur with Virtual Consults, so if possible, please use it. &#x1f60a;<\/p>\n<p data-id=\"block-ember1201\" data-generated-at=\"15858838974550.15647981788056953\" data-align=\"left\"><b data-id=\"entity-ember1202\">It only works on smartphones?<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-id=\"block-ember1203\" data-generated-at=\"15858838974550.3393618556189648\" data-align=\"left\">Yup, it works on Android and iOS. Sadly, it will not work with old Nokia 5110 phones.<\/p>\n<p data-id=\"block-ember1204\" data-generated-at=\"15858838974550.10719733201781323\" data-align=\"left\"><b data-id=\"entity-ember1205\">Why do the patients need to download the app? Other services don\u2019t let the patient download apps anymore.<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-id=\"block-ember1206\" data-generated-at=\"15858838974550.7772817068815399\" data-align=\"left\">Because those other services cannot do what we can do as a whole. The Now Serving app is linked to your EMR. You can send your instructions, labs, prescriptions, images through the app. There\u2019s a chat feature. Patients can see a record of their consult transcripts.
