Dr. Justin Aquino

Dr. Justin Aquino is a board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist, whose practice focuses on adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients. Dr. Aquino graduated with honors from the Ateneo de Manila University’s Bachelor of Science in Psychology program, and earned his medical degree at the University of the East. He completed his internship training at the Makati Medical Center, and pursued his residency training under the Makati Medical Center’s Section of Psychiatry, serving as its chief resident physician in his final year. Dr. Aquino completed further training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) under the specialty’s leading proponent, the Beck Institute. Among other specializations, Dr. Aquino provides support for gender issues and the full spectrum of areligious (i.e., agnostic, atheist, apostate, secularist, humanist, etc.) issues. His other professional interests include existential psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, palliative psychiatry, neuropsychoanalysis, and evolutionary psychiatry.
