What it is

The Baby Book is the copy of your chart the family carries

When a child under your care books through NowServing, or you send them your NowServing link, their vaccines, growth chart and milestones open automatically in the family's phone. It runs on the SeriousMD-to-NowServing connection you already use for bookings. You do not fill out a second form. Click here to see what the parents see.

The vaccine record you already tick off

Mark a dose given in SeriousMD the way you do today. It clears on the family's list from the same visit, carrying your name, and any dose past its date shows as overdue on their side before you see them again.

The growth chart your measurements build

Your height and weight entries plot on the same curve as the ones parents log at home. Yours carry your photo, so the two are never mixed up. What they log stays on their side.

Chart labels are tracking, not a diagnosis.

The growth chart summary in the NowServing Baby Book: height 82 centimeters, weight 10.8 kilograms, labelled Healthy.

Also in their Baby Book

Charting the vaccine and growth entries is what you do. These come along with it.

Milestones, month by month

A checklist parents can tick between visits. Nothing here is charted by you.

One profile per child

If a family has more than one child, each gets a separate Baby Book.

Age-based setup

The Baby Book configures itself from the child's birth date the moment the profile links.

Getting started

How it works, on your side

Nothing to install. It runs on the same booking and charting flow you already use.

1

Book normally, or send your link

Accept their booking, the same way you do today. No booking needed? Send an existing patient your NowServing link from inside SeriousMD instead.

2

Chart the visit as usual

Mark vaccines given and log height and weight the way you already do inside SeriousMD. There is no separate Baby Book screen for you to fill in.

3

It appears in their app, automatically

The Baby Book opens on their home screen the moment the profile links, set up for the child's age, with your entries already inside it.

The introduction card a parent sees when their pediatrician links the Baby Book: the doctor's name and photo with the message that the child's health records will be shared here.

FAQs

Questions doctors ask us

Do I have to chart anything differently?+

No. Mark vaccines given and log height and weight the way you already do inside SeriousMD. Those entries carry over on their own. There is no separate Baby Book screen for you to fill in.

How does a patient's Baby Book actually get created?+

Two ways. Accepting their booking creates it. So does sending them your NowServing link when there is no booking, which works for an existing patient.

Either one links their profile and opens the Baby Book automatically, set up for their age.

Does this work for every pediatric subspecialty?+

Yes. Any SeriousMD profile with a pediatric specialty qualifies, including subspecialties, for patients aged 0 to 18.

What does the parent's export actually contain?+

The vaccine name and date only, without lot numbers or signatures.
