It’s been a year. We’re now officially a year old.

We officially released SeriousMD Doctors in the Apple App Store on February 29, 2016. Now we know the feeling of those that have birthdays on that date during a leap year.

Over the past months, we went through a plethora of updates and drastic makeovers to make SeriousMD what it is today.

We’ve come a long way from what it was able to do and what it looked like back then but are we done?

Of course not! But first…

Celebrating the Past

I mentioned in my first post here on the blog exactly a year ago…

“No software is perfect right off the bat.”

We went into this knowing full well that we’ll be in it for the long haul.

Sleepless nights, grinding during holidays, sacrificing weekends, spending Christmas away from family in a foreign country just to be able to ship a new feature and more. They are all part of the journey to making SeriousMD Doctors the best practice management app out there and soon, the best healthcare platform.

The past year, we hit a lot of milestones, we learned a lot from our mistakes and we shipped out a lot of cool stuff. From the additions of new templates, to the revolutionary way to view your patient’s vitals, to a fully robust web app that you can access anywhere on any device, to the newly released sub-account module and so much more.

You personally saw how a little “app that could” has transformed into the powerhouse of an app that it is today.

A lot of you reading this have been with us since the beginning. You reported bugs, you sent your suggestions, you tested the new features. You stuck with us.

You trusted us with your practice.

We want to thank you for joining us and let me assure you that you won’t regret it. With all the plans already in place and many already in motion, you really, really won’t.

Embracing the Future

The future looks bright. We’ve laid out our plans for the next 3 years so we have a roadmap that’ll bring us to where we want to go. 2017 is going to play a pivotal role moving forward, which is why we hope that you can continue to support and invite your fellow doctors to come on-board.

What’s Coming in 2017:

An all new way of managing your schedule

Billing and Inventory

The iPhone version (Here’s a preview)

The Patient app

There are actually many more lined up that I can’t say here. I can talk about it with the community (join the community if you still haven’t) or just message me and let’s talk 1 on 1. Some of our competitors are blatantly copying what we do and are even ripping off the way we do our screenshots. It’s flattering but we prefer that it doesn’t happen.

It’s going to be a long road and things will only get harder from hereon out. It’s just the way it is in this world. We have to face it head-on if we want SeriousMD to be the best.

Our ultimate goal has always been to improve healthcare to save millions of lives using the SeriousMD platform.

With your help plus the steps we’ll be taking in 2017 for SeriousMD Doctors, we know we’ll be able to pull it off together. On behalf of the whole SeriousMD team, we thank you for putting your trust in us and our platform.

There’s no cake in the office today, no celebration as we’re still hard at work on the new iOS release and billing.

Until the next milestone!

Please continue to support us. Please invite your friends to join you. We have some top secret things in the works that will make it simpler and easier for you to interact with your fellow doctors.
