Graduated Doctor of Medicine at the University of the Philippines. Completed his Orthopedic residency training at the UP-Philippine General Hospital. Pursued further training in Foot and Ankle surgery under Prof. Martin Sullivan at the St Vincent's Foot and Ankle Clinic in Sydney, Australia and Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy under A/Prof Simon Tan and Dr Warren Kuo at St Vincent's SportsMed, also in Sydney.
