Many of her clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by overthinking, recurring emotional patterns, or difficulties in relationships, and seek to build greater confidence and emotional balance. Ms. De Castro's approach is collaborative, values-based, and tailored to each client's unique needs. She integrates evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral principles, and attachment-based perspectives to help clients better understand themselves, strengthen emotional resilience, improve relationships, and develop practical skills for lasting change. She believes that therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of one's experiences, and move toward a life that is more meaningful and aligned with one's values.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I book a schedule today?

Yes. Same-day appointments may be accommodated subject to availability. If a request is not accepted within 24 hours, it will be automatically cancelled by the system.

How long does a typical session last?

The first consultation focuses on understanding your concerns, exploring your experiences, and identifying the kind of support that would best help you. It typically lasts 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Regular therapy sessions usually run for 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the nature of the session and your needs.

Reschedulling and Cancellation Policy

Clients may reschedule or cancel their appointment at least 4 hours before the scheduled session. For same-day bookings, rescheduling or cancellation must be made at least 3 hours prior to the appointment. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made beyond these timeframes will result in the forfeiture of the session payment. This policy is in place to respect the clinician’s time and to allow other clients who may need support the opportunity to book the available slot. Thank you
