Dr. Anna Francesca Abarquez is a board-certified Internist , Adult Cardiologist and Interventional Cardiologist in Metro Manila As an internist, Dr. Abarquez is capable of attending to urgent and non-urgent diseases and conditions in adults such as Hypertension, diabetes, bronchial asthma, COPD and infectious diseases among others. As a cardiologist, her expertise is in managing cardiovascular diseases like. acute coronary syndrome (ACS)/ myocardial infarction (MI), arrhythmias, heart failure and congenital heart diseases. She is also an interventional cardiologist who can perform coronary angiogram, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, and percutaneous coronary interventions like coronary angioplasty, temporary and permanent pacemaker insertion and central line insertion among others. Dr. Abarquez is currently practicing in Rizal- Pasig-Mandaluyong area.

Do you issue Medical Certificates?
Yes. Take note that a medical certificate is a legal document affixed with my signature so there will be an additional charge of 800Php. Medical certificates are not part of insurance coverage and shall only be given for specific valid reasons and after the consultation.
Can I schedule a 2D Echocardiogram with you?
Diagnostic Centers and Hospitals are the ones performing the adult 2D Echocardiogram study. As cardiologist we are the ones who interpret the studies done. If 2D Echocardiogram is needed, the patient should schedule with a diagnostic centre/ heart station for it first.
Do you issue pre-procedure/ pre-operative cardiology clearance?
Yes. Take note that a cardio clearance is a legal document affixed with my signature pertaining to your cardiovascular risk assessment prior to any procedure so there will be an additional charge of 2000Php. Medical certificates and cardiology clearance are not part of insurance coverage and shall only be given for specific valid reasons and after the consultation after thorough assessment.
