Do you issue Medical Certificates?

Yes. Take note that a medical certificate is a legal document affixed with my signature so there will be an additional charge. Medical certificates are not part of insurance coverage and shall only be given for specific valid reasons and after the consultation.

How should I prepare for the appointment?

Please provide the following: current glasses (refraction), previous eye records, prescriptions, or test results, if available. For face-to-face consults, you may bring a companion with you, especially if your appointment involves pupil dilation (for comprehensive eye exams especially for blurring of vision, new floaters, diabetes), since your vision will be blurry and sensitive to light for several hours.

How long will the appointment take?

The visit usually lasts 15 to 30 minutes, though it may take longer (up to an hour) depending on whether other procedures will be needed and additional time required for discussion.
