Dr. Clarissa Tady is a Diplomate of Philippine Board of Ophthalmology. She specializes in Neuro-Ophthalmology that focuses on diseases of the nervous system that affect vision, control of eye movements or pupillary reflexes. She completed her residency training at Cardinal Santos Medical Center and his fellowship training in The University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Common ophthalmologic problems include: headache, eye pain, error of refraction, dry eye syndrome, stye, conjunctivitis and cataract among others. Common pathology referred to a neuro-ophthalmologist includes optic neuritis, optic neuropathy, papilledema, brain tumors, stokes, double vision/diplopia, eye movement disorder, ptosis, blepharospasm, and hemifacial spasm. Services include (done in clinic): a comprehensive eye examination which includes slitlamp exam, dry eye test, motility exam, ishihara test/color vision test, applanation tonometry, gonioscopy, dilated fundus exam and an optic nerve exam. Surgical procedures include: removal of corneal or conjunctival foreign body, epilation, incision and curettage, and pterygium excision.
