Diane Bernardo

MA, RPsy - Psychologist

I am a licensed psychologist with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, which I completed Magna Cum Laude at the University of Santo Tomas (UST). I am currently pursuing my PhD in Clinical Psychology at the same university, further deepening my knowledge and clinical expertise. I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with a wide range of psychological concerns, including anxiety, depression, psychological trauma, ADHD, and personality disorders. I also provide family therapy, couples therapy, and marriage counseling, supporting clients in improving communication, rebuilding trust, and strengthening emotional connection. My therapeutic approach is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with integrative techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Reality Therapy. I focus on helping clients develop effective coping strategies, regulate emotions, and engage in cognitive and behavioral restructuring. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, offering a safe and supportive environment for healing. I am deeply committed to creating a collaborative, client-centered space where individuals and families feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful and lasting change in their lives.

All sessions are held in strict confidentiality in line with professional and legal standards. Information shared will not be disclosed without your consent, unless required by law (e.g., imminent harm) Before your first session, I will send you a consent and intake form that needs to be filled out. This form outlines your rights, the scope of therapy, confidentiality limits, and other important information to help us get started with your therapeutic journey.

How long does a typical session last?

For mental health consultations, sessions typically last between 30 to 45 minutes. Counseling and psychotherapy sessions generally run for approximately 60 minutes, although the duration may be extended depending on the client’s needs and the complexity of the case.

Attendance Guidelines: No-Show Policy
