Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to pay first to get an appointment?

Yes, you will have to pay the fee before I will receive the request. The 20 minutes of mental health check-in is 500PhP + SeriousMD Fee. A one-hour of consultation is 1,500PhP (additional fee of 1,000PhP can be transferred via GCash / Paymaya). There will be additional fees charges to you for any additional services offered during the consultation (e.g. reports / certification / proof of consultation).

Do you issue Medical Certificates?

I only provide a Mental Health Certificate or Proof of Consultation upon request for an additional fee of ₱500. Please be advised that this is a clinical document outlining the clinical impression and general recommendations discussed during our session; it is not a medical certificate. The issuance of this document does not automatically guarantee a formal diagnosis or signify "fit to work," "fit to study," or other specific clearances, as such determinations are made strictly on a case-by-case basis. Requests for mental health leave, leave of absence, or similar official documentation can only be processed with psychometric evaluation (typically conducted face-to-face) or consultation with a licensed psychiatrist. Only a qualified medical doctor, such as a psychiatrist, can issue a medical certificate for mental health-related conditions. Proof of consultation will only be issued after the session and for valid, specific reasons discussed during the consultation.
