What do I do if I am currently having concrete plans of ending my life or concrete plans of hurting other people?
If you are feeling at immediate risk of harming yourself or someone else, or feel unable to keep yourself safe right now, then you deserve urgent, in-person support. Since this clinic is only for non-urgent, outpatient concerns, the safest next step is to go to the nearest emergency room, contact local emergency services, or reach out to crisis hotlines or trusted people.
Remember that seeking urgent help now does not prevent you from continuing outpatient care later.
If I'm a minor (Below 18 years old), should there be a written consent from my parents/legal guardian?
Yes. If you are below 18 years old, written consent from a parent or legal guardian is required before a consultation can proceed. A clear photo of the signed consent will need to be sent to the doctor once the consultation is accepted.
For minors, the parent or legal guardian will be informed about the diagnosis and any medications prescribed. At the same time, personal matters discussed during sessions that are not related to safety or risk of harm to yourself or others will remain confidential between you and your doctor. This helps ensure both your safety and your privacy.
What services do you provide?
During a consultation, I provide a psychiatric assessment and work with you to plan an appropriate course of treatment. This may include discussing and prescribing medications, engaging in psychotherapy, scheduling follow-up or monitoring sessions, and making referrals to other professionals when helpful. For individuals with a diagnosis of major depressive disorder (MDD) or obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), I can also assess whether Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) may be a suitable option and help guide referrals for this treatment when indicated.
How long does a typical session last?
Sessions usually take around 30-60 minutes.
Do you issue Medical Certificates?
Yes. Take note that Medical Certificates are legal documents and are issued at my professional discretion, based on the findings of our consultation.
If indicated, a medical certificate may be issued for a fee of PHP 300, which is not covered by insurance. Medical certificates are provided only for valid medical reasons and cannot be guaranteed. Requests without appropriate medical basis may be declined.
How much is the consultation?
Consults for online and f2f in QC are 2500. For those with official PWD IDs or senior citizen cards, the fee is Php 2000.
Consults for f2f in Manila are 3000. For those with official PWD IDs or senior citizen cards, the fee is Php 2400.
Which HMO's/Healthcards do you accept?
I currently do not accept HMOs and health cards.
Do I need to pay first to get an appointment?
Yes, you will have to pay the fee before I will receive the request. The consultation fee includes only the following: examining the patient regarding the complaint, giving the correct diagnosis, and giving the appropriate management/prescription. There will be additional fees charges to you for any additional services offered during the consultation.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
I reserve appointments specifically for you and the time is set aside in advance. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me AT LEAST 24 HOURS before your scheduled appointment so the slot can be offered to another patient. Requests made after this window, as well as missed appointments, are NOT eligible for refunds. Payments made are applied to the reserved session; however, rescheduling within the allowed notice period may be done at no additional charge. I understand that unexpected situations can arise, and if something urgent occurs, I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible so next steps can be discussed.
What is Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)?
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate specific areas of the brain involved in mood and anxiety regulation. It is most commonly used for depression and may also be helpful for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), especially when other treatments haven’t been enough.
TMS isn’t for everyone, but if you’re curious, this is something we can explore and discuss in more detail during a consultation.
