Dr. Edward Samala is a board-certified psychiatrist who is here to listen, support, and help. He understands that every individual's journey with mental health is unique. He is committed to providing compassionate and personalized care. With expertise in managing a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Autism spectrum disorder, OCD, DID and personality disorders-he tailors each treatment plan to align with his patients' specific needs and goals. He is trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychopharmacology (medication management). He is also experienced in various therapeutic approaches such as mindfulness practices, trauma therapy, mentalization-based techniques, and cognitive behavioral strategies. Dr. Samala creates a safe and understanding space where individuals can explore their experiences and work toward healing and growth. He completed his residency training in General Adult Psychiatry at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, where he also served as Chief Resident for External Affairs.
