Dr. Edward Samala is a General and Adult Psychiatrist with expertise in managing a broad spectrum of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, psychosis, ADHD, and personality disorders. He is trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy and various therapeutic modalities such as mentalization-based therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. He obtained his medical degree from De La Salle Health Sciences Institute and completed his residency training in General and Adult Psychiatry at the UP-PGH Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine. After his residency, he served as Chief Resident for External Affairs in the same institution for 18 months.
