Elaine is a gender- and queer-sensitive, affirmative counselor who offers a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their experiences and concerns. Elaine has experience as a crisis hotline responder, center counselor, and trainer with UGAT Foundation Inc., and has also worked with the University Gender Hub of Ateneo de Manila University in supporting cases and facilitating gender-related trainings. Elaine mainly draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-centered therapy to support adolescents and individuals navigating depression, anxiety, stress, life adjustment and transition concerns, and gender-affirmative care. With her additional background in Human Resources, Elaine also understands workplace dynamics and helps clients work through work-related stressors and challenges with care and empathy. Speaks English, Tagalog, and Bisaya.
