Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a typical session last?

The duration of a session depends on whether it is a new consultation or a follow-up session. Generally, sessions last 40 to 60 minutes, depending on your specific needs and the focus of the consultation.

Do you conduct psychotherapy during consultations?

Yes, I provide psychotherapy as part of my services. However, the first session is a general consultation that includes a comprehensive review of your psychiatric and medical history to establish an initial assessment and management plan which we will collaboratively discuss. The initial assessment may evolve as we continue with follow-ups. Should psychotherapy be recommended based on the intake interview, these sessions will be conducted during subsequent follow-ups.

Do you issue Medical Certificates?

Yes. Take note that a medical certificate is a legal document affixed with my signature. Medical certificates shall only be given for specific valid reasons and after the consultation.
