Mr. Lagarto is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling, psychometrics and psychological services. He currently serves as Counselor Consultant, Guidance Consultant, Crisis Helpline Responder and Psychology professor in various mental health clinics, and university. Mr. Lagarto earned his BS Psychology from Adamson University (2016), a Certificate in Teaching Education from World Citi Colleges – Guimba (2025), and a Master of Arts in Counseling from De La Salle University (2023). He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Psychology at Mapúa University. He is a licensed psychometrician (RPm), registered guidance counselor (RGC), and certified human resources associate (CHRA). He has completed Module 1 in Substance Use Intervention (DLSU - College of St. Benilde) and Level 1 Choice Theory/Reality Therapy (William Glasser Institute – Philippines), and is currently completing Level 2 of the same program through practicum supervision. He is also actively involved in professional organizations as Professional Development Officer at the Integrated Professional Counseling Association of the Philippines (IPCAP), and as a member of the Philippine Guidance and Counseling Association (PGCA) and the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP). Mr. Lagarto is also one of the facilitators of Race Against Suicide: A Gatekeeper Training Toolkit for Suicide Prevention in Schools, a project of the Unilab Foundation and the Philippine Guidance and Counseling Association (PGCA). As a mental health speaker, he shares his expertise on various topics such as mental health, suicide prevention, psychological first aid, stress management, gender sensitivity, career development, family wellbeing, bullying, and substance use prevention.
