Grace Ayessa Bernabe

Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (RGC, MEd.)

The prevalence of mental health concerns can be challenging and debilitating. Nowadays, there are an unspeakable number of mental health cases, which can arise from different triggers. It's reassuring to know that experts can help you at the comfort of your home and at your most convenient time. I am Grace Ayessa C. Bernabe, a licensed and registered guidance counselor, a mental health practitioner. I have handled cases on academics, careers, adjustment and life transition, anxiety, depression and mental health support, family issues, grief & loss, romantic and peer relationships, stress management, burnout, and workplace-related issues. At present, I am a practicing counselor at the Ateneo de Manila University, where I conduct most of my counseling sessions. Previously, I served for 12 years as the Head of the Guidance Center of the National Teachers College. Most of my tasks would include guidance program planning, supervision of guidance staff from basic education to college, counseling of students, faculty, and staff, and all-over administration of the Guidance Center. I graduated cum laude from Far Eastern University in 2007 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In 2012, I earned my Master's Degree in Education with a major in Guidance and Counseling at the Philippine Normal University and passed the board examination for guidance counselors in the same year. I wrote a book entitled Personal Development focusing on topics such as self-development, the whole person, and adolescent development for senior high school students, published by Mindshapers Publishing Company Incorporated in 2016. I am blessed to be often invited to conduct seminars and workshops for students, faculty, and staff. My counseling approaches are collaborative problem solving, person-centered, nonjudgmental conversations, and a compassionate and caring counseling style. If there is any way that I could be of help to you, please do not hesitate to book an appointment with me, and together we will sort things out to look for a suitable solution to your pressing need at this time.
