I’m under 18 years old. Can I book a session?

My practice provides services for adults (18 years and older). At this time, I am not able to offer sessions to minors.

I’m not sure what my symptoms are. Can I still book a session?

Yes. In our first meeting, I’ll ask you some questions to understand what you’re experiencing. Together, we’ll explore your concerns and decide the best way forward.

How long does a typical session last?

A typical session lasts around 45 minutes per patient. It can take longer depending on the case and needs of the patient.

What can I expect during my first session?

During your first psychotherapy session, you can expect to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your personal history, and any current challenges you are facing. This initial session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and to establish a comfortable and trusting environment. I will ask questions to understand your background and goals, and we will also discuss how therapy works, including confidentiality and the treatment process. The aim is to create a foundation for our work together and to develop a plan tailored to your needs.

What is your no-show policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee. Consistent attendance is crucial for effective therapy, so please ensure to communicate any changes as soon as possible.

Can I get a refund instead of rescheduling?

Since I hold that time exclusively for you, bookings are non-refundable once confirmed. This applies whether or not it's been rescheduled. If your rescheduled slots aren't working, let's talk and find something that does before we get to that point. If I ever need to cancel or move your session on my end, you'll get a full refund or a free rebooking.

What if I need to reschedule my appointment?

Life happens and you're welcome to reschedule up to 2 times per booking, no questions asked. If a 3rd reschedule is needed, the booking will be forfeited.

Do you issue Medical Certificates?

I do not issue medical certificates, but I do provide Mental Health Certificates. An appropriate assessment is required for this certificate, and an additional fee applies. Mental Health Certificates are not part of insurance coverage and shall only be given for specific valid reasons and after the consultation.
