My subspecialties include 1) the use of non-invasive cutaneous imaging for better surveillance and monitoring for various skin disorders, especially skin cancers; 2) evaluation and treatment of autoimmune skin disorders (such as autoimmune blistering diseases [e.g. bullous pemphigoid, pemphigus, etc.], vitiligo, psoriasis, cutaneous lupus, dermatomyositis, etc.) and other complicated medical dermatological disorders or emergencies, such as severe cutaneous adverse drug reactions; and 3) the evaluation and treatment of complex or non-healing wounds. I am currently affiliated with the following tertiary center hospitals/dermatology training institutions: 1) Department of Dermatology, University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital (Ermita, Manila) - under the Cutaneous Imaging, Immunodermatology, and Complex Wounds divisions; 2) Department of Dermatology, East Avenue Medical Center (Diliman, Quezon City) under the Immunodermatology/Complex Medical Dermatology divisions; and 3) Department of Dermatology, Valenzuela Medical Center; and coordination for any emergency cases requiring admission, or any additional face-to-face evaluation, diagnostics, and/or treatment may be provided through these institutions.
