What other services do you offer?
👂🏻 I offer ear piercing services and PPD (Tuberculin) skin testing.
Feel free to contact me directly to book an appointment or to learn more about the procedures, age requirements, and any necessary preparation.
Do you offer support for breastfeeding and nutrition?
🤱 Yes! I offer help with breastfeeding concerns like latch, milk supply, and feeding schedules. I also provide nutrition counseling—from starting solids to picky eating and weight issues.
Just send your child’s age and your concerns, and I will help you set up a consult.
What do I need for school or sports clearance?
📝 Your child will need a physical exam that includes:
- Medical history review
- Check of growth, vision, hearing, heart, lungs, and muscles
- Discussion of any health concerns
- Immunization review
- Screening for sports-related risks
👉 Don’t forget to bring your child’s baby book, vaccination records, and any required school or sports forms.
Can I ask general parenting questions?
👨👩👧 Absolutely! I am happy to offer guidance on topics like sleep, screen time, behavior, sibling issues, and more.
Mention your concern when booking your visit, and I will make sure we cover it.
What is a developmental screening, and when is it done?
🧠 Developmental screening checks your child’s speech, motor skills, social interaction, and learning. It helps catch delays early — even if your child seems fine.
✅ The AAP recommends screenings at 9, 18, and 30 months, and autism-specific screenings at 18 and 24 months.
Early support makes a big difference!
Is my child up to date on vaccines?
💉 I would be happy to review your child’s vaccination records and create a personalized schedule to help protect your child—and your entire household—from vaccine-preventable diseases.
If you already have a list of needed vaccines, please send it in advance so I can ensure availability at your appointment.
What happens during a well-child visit?
🩺 During a well-child visit, your child’s growth, development, and overall health are assessed.
This includes:
1. Reviewing milestones, social behaviors, and learning progress
2. Discussing illness prevention and age-appropriate safety tips
3. Addressing any questions about sleep, eating habits, or behavior
Regular visits help support your child’s optimal physical, mental, and social well-being.
When should I bring my child in for a sick visit?
🤧 For non-emergency concerns, schedule a sick visit if your child has:
- Fever, cough, colds, or sore throat
- Ear pain, rash, vomiting, or diarrhea lasting more than a day
- Any new or unusual symptoms that concern you
While these may not be emergencies, timely care can help prevent complications. If you're unsure, feel free to schedule a consult.
