He had his subspecialty training (Research and Clinical fellowship) in Skull Base Neurosurgery at Hôpital Lariboisière Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris in Paris, France with special training on tumors at the base of the skull as well as endoscopic and minimally invasive approaches to complex areas of the brain. He is currently practicing at The Medical City in Ortigas, Pasig City and in Kalibo, Aklan as the only neurosurgeon of the province.
