Dr. Cu earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine's accelerated Integrated Liberal Arts and Medicine (INTARMED) program. She finished her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Philippine General Hospital Department of Medicine, where she also served as the assistant chief resident for services during her last year of training. Currently, she is practicing as an internal medicine specialist, with a special interest in lifestyle diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, travel medicine, and infectious diseases.
