Raphael Pangilinan graduated with a degree in Doctor of Medicine from the University of Santo Tomas and underwent specialty training in Internal Medicine at Cardinal Santos Medical Center. He completed his subspecialty training in Gastroenterology at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Quezon City. He ranked number 1 in the Specialty Board of Gastroenterology and has authored 13 papers on Gastroenterology, 3 of which have been published online and 10 presented abroad and locally in various research conferences. He performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures which include polypectomy, PEG insertion, EMR and foreign body extraction. Dr. Pangilinan completed an additional year of training in Advanced Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy (ERCP, EUS) at Hyogo Medical University and Kobe University Hospital in Japan.
