Dr John Carlo B Timbol practices General Internal Medicine, which deals with the diagnosis and treatment of various illnesses that afflict adults, such as COVID-19, hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, asthma, dengue, pneumonia, kidney disease, liver disease, gout, chronic stroke, etc. Ever since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Timbol had been involved with the direct clinical management of COVID-19 patients. His past responsibilities include being Ward Officer of the Victoriano Luna Medical Center Covid Complex (July 2020-January 2021), medical team member of the Philippine Army's Covid Response Unit (February 2021-August 2021), and Internal Medicine consultant in the Army General Hospital (August 2021-December 2021), where his primary responsibility was the clinical management of moderate to severe COVID-19 patients. Dr Timbol earned his medical degree from the St Luke's College of Medicine in 2014, and took up his residency in Internal Medicine in the Victoriano Luna Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident in 2019. He earned his Diplomate in Internal Medicine in 2020. He was part of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Corps from January 2016 to January 2022. He is currently affiliated with the Philippine College of Physicians and the Philippine Medical Association. In 2020, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry named Dr Timbol one of the finalists in its inaugural Gawad Bayaning Kalusugan.
