Do you provide ADHD screening or assessment?

Yes, ADHD-related screening or initial assessment may be available if appropriate for online setup. Some cases may still require referral for further evaluation.

What should I prepare before the session?

Please accomplish the informed consent and screening forms before your appointment. I will send these to you via chat once your appointment is paid and confirmed. Ideally, please complete them at least 30 minutes before the session.

How long does a typical session last?

A typical teleconsultation lasts 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the client’s concerns and the flow of the discussion. My online sessions cover online mental health consultation, counseling/psychotherapy, psychological testing and assessment when appropriate, certificates/reports, and care coordination/referrals. While these can be helpful and supportive, some long-term structured psychotherapy is not conducted online due to important limitations in the virtual setup such as environment control, safety considerations, and the depth required for therapeutic work.

Can you help with self-harm thoughts?

I can talk with you about what you are going through, but active self-harm or suicidal crisis cannot be handled online. Emergency care is required in such cases.

Can you help me determine whether I need therapy or psychiatric help?

Yes. Through consultation, I can help clarify what form of support is most appropriate for your situation.

What if I have suicidal thoughts or immediate safety concerns?

Please seek emergency/crisis services, go to the nearest emergency room, or contact urgent psychiatric care. Online consultation is not appropriate for immediate safety concerns.

Do you prescribe medications?

No. As a Clinical Psychologist and Counselor, I do not prescribe medications. Only medical doctors and psychiatrists can do so. However, I can issue mental health certificate, psychological report, and conduct psychotherapy, if referred.

Do you offer counseling or psychotherapy?

Yes, counseling/psychotherapy may be offered after the initial consultation or if referred by a psychiatrist. Succeeding sessions are ₱1,000 per session. Packages may also be available after the initial consultation.

Do you issue a Certificate of Consultation?

Yes. I can issue a Certificate of Consultation upon request after the session.

Can minors consult with you?

Yes, but parent or guardian consent is required for clients under 18.

Yes, you may book consultations whenever needed. Frequency depends on your concerns; some clients prefer monthly check-ins while others schedule only when issues arise. Since this is not psychotherapy, you set the pace based on comfort and need.

Can I request psychological testing?

Yes, but only if appropriate for online/remote assessment. The purpose, concern, required documents, and assessment tools will be considered first.

Do you issue medical certificates?

No. Only physicians can issue medical certificates. I can issue mental health-related certificates, but not medical certificates.

Can I message you via the NowServing app?

Yes, you can send me a message through the NowServing app once I already accepted your appointment. You will receive a reply as soon as possible.

Do you accommodate urgent same-day sessions?

If there is an available slot in the app, you may book it. However, urgent or crisis situations are not handled through teleconsultation and require immediate help from emergency or hospital services.

Do you issue psychological clearance?

I can issue a psychological clearance only if it is clinically appropriate and the request fits the scope of a consultation (for example, non-forensic and non-fitness-for-duty purposes). Some specialized clearances may require a full psychological evaluation.

Can I book a face to face consultation with you?

No, as I only offer online consultations at this time.

Do you see clients with possible clinical disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression)?

Yes. I can help clarify symptoms, provide psychoeducation, offer strategies, and give a provisional diagnosis, if appropriate. Certain conditions may require long-term therapy or psychiatric care.

Do you work with clients outside the Philippines?

Yes, provided that the client understands that the service will follow Philippine professional standards, ethical guidelines, and applicable regulations. However, if the client is currently residing in a country where psychological practice is regulated and requires local licensure, I may only provide coaching or general supportive services, not formal psychological consultation, psychotherapy, diagnosis, or psychological assessment.

Do you conduct psychological assessment for employment, adoption, or other official requirements (e.g., school, HR, legal)?

I can provide psychological assessment and related documentation for some employment, school, and HR requirements, as long as they are within the scope of a standard psychological evaluation and based on proper clinical interview and testing. However, for more specialized, sensitive, or high-stakes evaluations such as adoption, immigration, court-related cases, or certain legal and fitness-for-duty requirements, some tests and procedures are best done face-to-face to follow ethical and professional standards. In those situations, I may discuss your needs during consultation and, if necessary, refer you to one of our partner clinics or centers for a full in-person assessment.

What happens if I am late?

The session may still end at the original scheduled time. If there is no communication within the first 15 minutes, the appointment may be marked as a no-show.

Do you provide Mental Health Certificate?

Yes, when warranted after proper evaluation. The app visit provides a one-time consult/brief counseling and does not automatically include certificates or reports. For official school/work/medical purposes, a separate, assessment may be needed (and, if applicable, psychological testing). Fees are separate and processed outside the app.

Can I request a consultation summary or recommendations?

Yes, but this is a separate document with an additional fee, since it will be prepared, reviewed, signed, and issued as an official document. If requested, I may provide a Mental Health Consultation Attendance Certificate (Php 300), which indicates that you were seen for consultation on a specific date.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Please inform at least 24 hours before the session. Late cancellations may be considered a used slot, especially if the schedule can no longer be offered to another client.
