Dr. Jordan Badangayon is a dedicated psychiatrist at the National Center for Mental Health, with a clinical and academic foundation that bridges individual psychiatric care and systemic public health strategies. A graduate of St. Luke’s College of Medicine and a scholar of the Development Academy of the Philippines, Dr. Badangayon brings both medical expertise and systems leadership to the evolving field of mental health. His professional journey began with grassroots psychiatric and medical service in underserved rural communities through the Doctors to the Barrios Program. This experience shaped his commitment to inclusive, culturally attuned, and evidence-based care. Dr. Badangayon's current practice integrates psychopharmacologic intervention with supportive psychotherapy and rights-based approaches to wellness. Fluent in English, Filipino, Ilocano, and Ifugao–Tuwali, he fosters deeply human and respectful therapeutic relationships across diverse populations. Dr. Badangayon believes psychiatric healing is personal, systemic, and transformative—not just clinical.
