He is a Board Certified Interventional Gastroenterologist, Liver Disease Specialist and World Record Holder. He took his Pre-Med and Medicine at the University of Santo Tomas, Manila. He finished his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Cardinal Santos Medical Center, San Juan, Manila and Interventional Gastroenterology Fellowship in ERCP and Basic EUS at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia under the world famous Prof. KL Goh. Currently he is undergoing Advanced/Interventional Endosonography (EUS) Fellowship in the European Endoscopy Training Centre, Fondazione Policlinico Universitario “A. Gemelli”-IRSS in Rome, Italy under the world famous Prof. Guido Costamagna
