Do I need to pay first to get an appointment?

Payment of the consultation fee is required prior to confirmation of your appointment. The consultation fee covers only the clinical evaluation of the patient’s concerns, formulation of a diagnosis, and provision of appropriate management and/or prescription. Additional services, including but not limited to issuance of medical certificates, psychiatric reports, signing of financial reimbursement documents, and other administrative requests, will incur separate charges. Please note that refunds are not available for no-shows or for cancellations made within four (4) hours of the scheduled consultation time.

Do you issue Emotional Support Animals certifications?

Yes, Dr. Juen is able to issue certifications for emotional support animals.

Do you issue Medical Certificates?

Yes. There will be an additional charge and only given for specific valid reasons and after the consultation.

Which HMO's/Healthcards do you accept?

Yes, I accept Maxicare clients; however, this is only applicable at Maxicare Primary Care Clinics located in Bacolod, Otis, and Doña Elena.
