He finished his Residency Training in Urology at the St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City. Dr. Dy underwent Clinical Research Fellowship Training in Pediatric Urology at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Schneider's Children's Hospital in New Hyde Park, New York, USA from 2003-2004. During his fellowship, he had excellent exposure in minimally invasive urology and reconstructive urology.. In addition, he also had an intensive postgraduate training at the European Institute of Telesurgery (EITS) in Strasburg, France in 2008, where he acquired various skills in complex laparoscopic reconstructive urological surgery. In addition, he received his certification as a robotic console surgeon in 2010 from the Children's Hospital Boston, affiliate of the Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He is a Diplomate of the Philippine Board of Urology, Fellow of the Philippine Association of Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgeons, Phil College of Surgeons , Philippine Society for Pediatric Urology, Philippine Society of Uro Oncologist and International Member of the American Urological Association, Society of Pediatric Urology/Society of Fetal Urology and the Endourological Society. He is the current Head of Stone and Prostate Treatment Center as well as Head of Pelvic Floor Center and Anorectal Diseases at St Lukes Medical Center - Quezon City, Philippines
