Do I have to fill out forms before the session?
Yes. If you’re a new client, you’ll be given an intake form before the session to provide some basic information that will help us get started in your first session. You’ll also receive a consent form that you’ll need to sign. I’ll go over this consent with you briefly during our session so you can ask any questions and feel comfortable with the process.
Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy
For appointments booked in advance, please try to reschedule or cancel at least 3–4 hours before your session.
For same-day bookings, let me know at least 3–4 hours in advance if you can’t make it. Cancellations made after this window or not showing up will mean the payment is forfeited.
I really appreciate your understanding. This helps keep the schedule running smoothly and respects everyone’s time, including other clients who need support.
Session Attendance and Late Policy
You have a 15-minute grace period from your scheduled start time. If you don’t arrive within that window, the session will be considered a “no-show” and won’t be eligible for a refund.
This policy helps me keep sessions running on time and respect everyone’s schedule. If you know you’re running late, please get in touch as soon as possible so we can see if any adjustments can be made.
How long does a typical session last?
The initial intake session usually lasts about an hour. Regular sessions are typically 1 hour, but they can sometimes go a little longer depending on the schedule and the depth or focus of what we're working on.
Can I contact you outside the consultation?
I try to keep communication strictly within our scheduled sessions because it helps maintain healthy boundaries and protects the therapeutic relationship. This clear structure allows us to focus fully and safely on your needs during our time together.
But if you have any general questions or need help with scheduling, you can always get in touch with my assistant. Just ask me for her contact information during our session so you’ll have it if you need anything outside our appointments.
Do you provide a diagnosis?
No, I do not provide a diagnosis for online consultations. It entails a full battery of test for assessment for a diagnosis to be given. If a diagnosis is needed, I would you refer you to other institutions for a psychological assessment.
How do you maintain Confidentiality?
Everything you share with me in session is private. I don’t share your information with anyone without your permission. The only exceptions are rare situations required by law, like if there’s a serious risk of harm to you or others. I follow strict professional and legal standards to make sure your information stays safe and confidential.
Can I book a schedule today?
Yes. As long as there is an available schedule, requests for appointments will be immediately accommodated. If not accepted within 24 hours, your request will be automatically cancelled by the system.
Do you issue medical certificate, fit to work certificate, certificate of disability and other related certificates?
No, I do not issue medical certificate and other related certificates or documents.
The telepsychology services I offer are only counseling and psychotherapy.
