What is the process for starting therapy with you?

INITIAL CONTACT & PATHWAY SELECTION Upon receiving your inquiry, I will share details on my services & availability. To respect your readiness, you may choose one of two entry pathways: ‣ MENTAL HEALTH CONSULTATION (30-mins): For those uncertain about their specific needs – this session explores your concerns & goals, discusses my services, and maps out your best pathway of care ‣ CLINICAL INTAKE ASSESSMENT (60-mins): For those already certain of their needs, ready to dive into counseling/therapy PRE-SESSION DOCUMENTATION I will provide forms tailored to your chosen path. These ensure your informed consent, privacy, confidentiality, and personal landscape are documented and safe CASE DELIBERATION I will review your completed forms to ensure my specialties align with your needs - as there may be cases when referral to a different provider is best to secure the care you deserve INTAKE COORDINATION We'll align schedules to finalize your session, officially starting your healing journey

Can I do same-day booking?

Yes, if there is still an available slot for the day. Make sure to book 3 to 4 hours before the desired time slot.

How long does a typical session last?

For mental health consultation, a 30-minute session is dedicated per client. For the intake assessment, it lasts around 60 minutes per client. For succeeding sessions, it takes around an hour or longer, depending on the case and the needs of the client.

Do I need to prepare anything for our sessions?

Yes. To have a meaningful session, please prepare the following: • a quiet, private space where you won't be interrupted; • a stable internet connection that can handle continuous video sharing; • a device with a functional camera and microphone; • a pair of earphones/headphones, if available; • a comfortable and safe space to sit and just be.

What is your Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy?

Notice of cancellation or rescheduling must be submitted at least twenty-four (24) hours before the session. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a late cancellation charge of 50% of the fee.

What happens if I arrive late or can no longer attend?

If you are late, the session will still terminate at the originally scheduled time, and the full session fee will apply. If you do not log in within fifteen (15) minutes of the start time, it will be marked as a "No-Show" and the entire fee will be forfeited.

Can I message you via the NowServing app?

Yes, you can send me a message through the NowServing app once I already accepted your appointment. You will receive a reply as soon as possible.
