Education and Training - Graduated from the BS Psychology program of Ateneo De Manila University, with a minor in History under a Financial Aid Scholarship - Earned a dual degree MD-MBA from the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health - Underwent residency training at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH), learning under top Philippine psychiatrists Using a holistic approach, Dr. Ortiz remedies not only the biological mechanisms underlying a patient's mental health problem, but also tackles the underlying psychological and social factors as well. Dr. Ortiz also believes in collaborative care, taking into account the patient's own goals with treatment and therapy. By taking these principles into each encounter, he wishes to promote sustained and long-lasting changes in his patients and overall improved well-being.
