How long do I need to wait to get a response to my booking request?
I typically respond to booking requests within 24 hours. Response times may vary depending on my clinic schedule. Thank you for your patience.
What services do you provide?
I offer online psychological services, including:
Mental health consultation
Individual counseling and psychotherapy
Psychological assessment and testing (when appropriate)
Psychoeducation
Psychological reports and certificates (when clinically indicated)
Referral and care coordination
How long does a typical session last?
A typical session lasts 45 to 50 minutes, depending on the nature and complexity of your concerns.
Can I message you via the NowServing app?
Yes, you can send me a message through the NowServing app once I already accepted your appointment. You will receive a reply as soon as possible.
Do I need therapy or just a mental health consultation?
That depends on your concerns and goals. During our initial consultation, we'll discuss your situation and determine whether a one-time consultation, short-term counseling, or ongoing psychotherapy would be most appropriate for you.
Can you diagnose my mental health condition?
Yes. As a Registered Psychologist, I can provide a psychological diagnosis after a comprehensive clinical interview and, when necessary, psychological assessment. Depending on the available information, an initial diagnosis may be provisional and may require further evaluation.
Can you prescribe medication?
No. Psychologists do not prescribe medications. If medication may be beneficial, I can refer you to a psychiatrist or another qualified medical professional.
Can I request psychological testing or assessment?
Yes. Psychological testing and assessment are available when clinically appropriate. The type of assessment, procedures, fees, and turnaround time will depend on the purpose of the evaluation.
Can I request a psychological certificate or report?
Yes. Psychological certificates and reports may be issued when supported by appropriate clinical findings and professional judgment. Additional assessment, documentation, processing time, and separate fees may apply.
Can you issue a Fit-to-Work or Fit-to-Study certificate?
These may be provided only after an appropriate psychological evaluation and when supported by sufficient clinical findings. Some requests require a comprehensive assessment rather than a single consultation.
Do you issue Medical Certificates?
No. Medical certificates can only be issued by licensed physicians. However, I may issue psychological or mental health-related documentation when clinically appropriate.
Can my child or teenager consult with you?
Yes. I provide services for adolescents. Clients below 18 years old must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian before the consultation.
How should I prepare before my appointment?
Please choose a quiet and private space, ensure you have a stable internet connection, and use a device with a working camera and microphone. If any forms are required before the session, kindly complete them before your appointment.
How often should I schedule sessions?
The recommended frequency depends on your needs and treatment goals. Some clients benefit from weekly or biweekly sessions, while others schedule appointments as needed. We can discuss what works best for you.
What happens if I'm late for my appointment?
Your session will still end at the originally scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, your appointment may be considered a no-show.
Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Yes. Please notify me at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be considered forfeited sessions.
Do I need to pay first to get an appointment?
Yes. Payment is required to confirm and reserve your appointment schedule.
Can I message you before or after my appointment?
Yes. You may send me a message through the consultation platform for scheduling concerns or brief inquiries. I will respond as soon as reasonably possible during clinic hours.
What is your approach to therapy?
My practice is grounded in a client-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approach. I tailor each session to your unique needs while providing a compassionate, confidential, and nonjudgmental space where healing, growth, and resilience can develop.
What if I'm having thoughts of harming myself or I'm in crisis?
If you are experiencing active suicidal thoughts, self-harm urges, or another mental health emergency, online consultation is not the most appropriate level of care. Please proceed to the nearest emergency department, contact your local crisis services, or seek immediate assistance from a psychiatrist or emergency healthcare provider.
