Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a typical session last?

A typical session lasts around 1 hour per patient for first consultations, and 30-45 minutes for follow-up consultations. It can be adjusted depending on the specific needs of a patient.

What can I expect during a consultation session?

On the first consultation, we will discuss the most pressing issues at hand, and address your most urgent concerns first. We will also exhaustively cover the history of illness, current symptoms, medical history, and family history. After a thorough assessment, a working diagnosis will be given to you. Goals of treatment will be discussed, which will take into account your own goals and preferences as well. Medications or specific psychotherapy interventions may be advised depending on your needs. During follow-up consultations, we will have a brief review of what was discussed in the prior sessions. We will assess for any improvements in symptoms, and adjust treatment as necessary. We will also continually address any stressors and issues that may arise during the course of treatment.

Do you issue Medical Certificates?

Yes. Take note that a medical certificate is a legal document affixed with my signature so there will be an additional charge of Php 810 (Php 700 for medical certificate fee + Php 110 service charge from NowServing). Medical certificates are not part of insurance coverage and shall only be given for specific valid reasons and after the consultation. The medical certificate will be sent within 24 hours after you have settled the bill.
