Dr. Yna Pereyra-Borlongan has 10 years of experience as an Internal Medicine (doctor for adult diseases) and Occupational Health specialist. She graduated from the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health as a full scholar, finishing Doctor of Medicine and Masters in Business Administration. She then took the diplomate course in occupational safety and health under the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine. After which, she had her Internal Medicine residency training at East Avenue Medical Center, a 1,000-bed capacity DOH hospital in Quezon City. She is now pursuing further studies in Public Management (Major in Public Policy and Program Administration) in the University of the Philippines. She is committed to serving the Filipino people through her involvement with the government, by providing quality health care, with compassion and excellence, to every patient she treats.
