She completed subspecialty training in Dermatologic Oncology (skin cancer screening, dermoscopy, mole checks, and skin cancer prevention) and Supportive Oncodermatology, providing expert dermatologic care for cancer patients experiencing skin, hair, and nail toxicities from cancer therapies. For patients under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must be present during the entire video session to provide medical consent and assist with the evaluation. Dr. Valerio requests clear, well-lit photos of your skin, hair, or nail concern in advance so she can review your case and confirm if it can be properly and safely assessed online before accepting your booking. You may also send existing medical records, biopsy reports, lab results, or past prescriptions ahead of time, which helps Dr. Valerio evaluate your case more efficiently. All photos and medical documents sent are kept strictly confidential under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and are used solely for your medical assessment.
