Dr. Aldea is a psychiatrist who has expertise in providing compassionate, collaborative, and personalized care to those experiencing depression, anxiety, psychosis, trauma, OCD, ADHD, personality disorders, and other mental health conditions. Dr. Aldea graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ateneo de Manila University where she obtained her BS Health Sciences, Minor in Health and Development degree. She earned her Doctor of Medicine and Master in Business Administration dual degree from Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health. She underwent a three-year residency training in Psychiatry at the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital where she had significant experience in treating patients using different modalities such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, biological psychiatry and psychopharmacology, cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and trauma focused therapy. Throughout her training, Dr. Aldea developed special interest in women's (i.e. perinatal and reproductive mental health issues such as postpartum depression) and LGBTQIA+'s mental health. She is an advocate for inclusivity and hopes to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health through her work.
