My approach is client-centered and evidence-informed, focusing on self-understanding, emotional regulation, strengthening coping skills, and supporting overall psychological well-being. All sessions are conducted through a secure and confidential online platform, ensuring your privacy and comfort while receiving professional care. I also provide mental health certification, when clinically appropriate and based on thorough professional assessment. You don’t have to go through things alone. Do you issue Medical Certificates?
Yes, I issue Mental Health Certificates for clients who have undergone a mental health consultation or are receiving ongoing psychological services. Please note that the certificate bears my signature and is subject to an additional fee. Issuance is based on the purpose of the request and the results of the appropriate professional assessment.
What can I expect from my first session?
Your first session is primarily a guided clinical intake interview. It is designed to help your psychologist understand you and your concerns in a safe, structured, and non-judgmental space. You are not expected to share everything at once. The pace will be guided by your comfort level, and you are welcome to ask questions at any time. The first session focuses on understanding your needs and building a therapeutic alliance, rather than immediate problem-solving. However, the clinician may provide initial feedback and/or recommendations depending on your situation.
How long does a typical session last?
A typical session lasts around 45 minutes per patient. However, depending on the case and the client’s needs, the session may extend to a maximum of 1 hour.
