Do I need to pay first to get an appointment?
Yes, you will have to pay the fee before I will receive the request. The consultation fee includes only the following: examining the patient regarding the complaint, giving the correct diagnosis, and giving the appropriate management/prescription. There will be additional fees charges to you for any additional services offered during the consultation.
How long do I need to wait to get a response to my booking request?
Booking requests are usually reviewed within the day, often sooner.
Once confirmed via NowServing, you’ll receive your schedule and consultation details.
If there’s any delay, rest assured your request is being attended to—thank you for your patience.
What if the doctor does not respond within the guaranteed time?
Your request will be automatically cancelled by the system.
Is this suitable for first-time mental health consults?
Yes. Many patients are consulting for the first time. You will be guided step-by-step in a safe, non-judgmental space.
If you’re unsure whether to book:
You may start with one session to clarify your concerns and explore your options—no pressure to commit long-term.
What if I am in crisis or emergency?
If you are experiencing active/persistent suicidal thoughts, severe distress, and medical or psychiatric emergency, please go immediately to the nearest emergency room or contact local emergency services. Online consultation is not a substitute for emergency care.
Can I consult for someone else?
Yes, but with limitations. Adult patients should ideally consult personally, and for others (e.g., family members), consent or proper context are required.
The patient’s participation is usually needed for proper assessment. If you’re asking on behalf of a loved one, you may start with your concerns, and we can guide you on the most appropriate next steps.
What should I prepare before the consultation?
Please prepare a quiet, private space, a stable internet connection, and a valid ID (for verification if needed). It is also helpful, though optional, to have brief notes of your concerns or symptoms.
For new consultations, a questionnaire will be sent via a link before your session to help make our discussion more focused, efficient, and productive.
How long does a typical session last?
A typical session lasts around 30-60 minutes per patient. It can take longer depending on the case and needs of the patient.
Do you provide psychotherapy?
Yes. In addition to medication management (when appropriate), consultations may include brief psychotherapy, supportive counseling, and structured guidance such as CBT-informed strategies.
For formal Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), this is offered by separate arrangement, as it follows a structured, session-based program.
For more intensive or specialized therapy needs, appropriate referrals may also be recommended.
Can I message you via the NowServing app?
Yes. You may send a message through the NowServing app once your appointment has been accepted. Replies will be provided as soon as possible.
Please note that follow-up concerns—such as medication refills or changes in symptoms—are best addressed through a scheduled consultation to ensure proper assessment, documentation, and care.
Can I message you on your social media accounts?
Please keep all consult-related questions here on this platform. For any new concerns, please book another appointment.
Can I request medico-legal evaluation (e.g., annulment cases)?
Yes. These are handled separately and may include:
- Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation
- Collateral interviews
- Formal written report
Please send a direct inquiry for details on process, requirements, and fees.
Do you issue Medical Certificates?
Yes. Take note that a medical certificate is a legal document affixed with my signature so there will be an additional charge. Medical certificates are not part of insurance coverage and shall only be given for specific valid reasons and after the consultation.
