My Therapeutic Practice My work is grounded in a deeply collaborative and respectful approach to therapy and behaviour support. I draw from an integrative and pluralistic framework shaped by narrative therapy, family systems thinking, assemblages, somatic awareness, discursive psychology, existential inquiry, and psychoanalytic perspectives. Rather than positioning myself as the authority on your life, I approach therapy as a shared exploration where meaning, insight, and change can emerge through our work together. My approach reflects a strongly egalitarian philosophy that recognises the knowledge, agency, and lived experience you already carry. I work with individuals navigating a wide range of life experiences and psychological concerns, with particular interests in substance use, gender and sexuality, and suicidality. In these areas, I remain attentive not only to your personal experience of distress, but also to the relational, cultural, and social narratives that may shape how you understand yourself and your struggles. Our goal is to create a space for you to examine the stories, assumptions, and patterns that may have developed over time, while opening possibilities for new ways of relating to yourself, others, and the world around you. A key aspect of my work involves paying attention to the embodied and emotional dimensions of experience. Together, we will explore how psychological patterns are often expressed not only through thoughts, but also through bodily sensations and emotional responses. Experiences such as loss, repeated relational patterns, or moments of profound uncertainty can invite reflection on meaning, purpose, and identity. My approach will invite you to explore your experiences at your own pace, to gently question inherited narratives about who you are, and to reconnect with forms of meaning that feel authentic to your life. Through careful listening to the many dimensions of human experience, therapy can become a space where deeper clarity, alignment, and self-understanding gradually unfold. About Me I trained in psychology in the Philippines, graduating summa cum laude with an AB Psychology degree in 2015 and placing among the top examinees in the Psychometrician licensure examination that same year. I later earned a graduate degree in Counselling Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University, where I honed my research skills and published my graduate study internationally, exploring the complex relationship between drug use and poverty. I am currently a licensed Senior Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner in Australia. Beyond formal training and professional roles, my work is also shaped by an ongoing personal commitment to reflection and growth. In recent years, I have found myself increasingly drawn toward questions of meaning and alignment. My own spiritual journey continues to influence how I meet people in therapy: rather than seeking fixed answers, I have come to appreciate the importance of remaining open to life as it unfolds.
