Shaquille Catli

Licensed Professional Counselor

Shaquille is a licensed professional counselor and a teacher with over eight years of experience in guidance and counseling, psychology, career development, special education, teaching, research, and corporate wellness. Throughout my practice, I’ve supported individuals from all walks of life—students, professionals, parents, and teams—through meaningful and transformative conversations. I help clients navigate a wide range of personal and emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, adjustment difficulties, relationship struggles, and career stress. I also provide support for burnout, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, academic or work pressures, loneliness, and finding a sense of purpose. My areas of specialization include Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Trauma and PTSD, Grief and Loss, Panic Disorder, Phobias, Adjustment Disorder, Sleep Disorders, Chronic Pain Management, and Suicidality Risk. I also work with clients on issues related to work stress, family dynamics, social anxiety, and decision-making dilemmas. At the core of my counseling approach is empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and life experiences at your own pace. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Wherever you are in your journey—hurting, healing, or simply seeking clarity, I’m here to listen and walk with you with care and compassion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I book a schedule today?

Yes, same-day bookings are possible if there are open slots. Once you send a request, I’ll do my best to confirm it promptly. If your request is not accepted within 24 hours, the system will automatically cancel it. For any concerns or booking assistance, you may also email me at shaquillecatli@gmail.com for support.

Do I need to pay first to get an appointment?

Yes, advance payment is required to secure your appointment slot. This fee covers your full session, which includes a discussion of your concerns, psychological support, and a tailored well-being plan. Please note that my services focus on guidance and support, not medical diagnosis or prescriptions. If additional time or specialized services are needed, I will discuss any extra charges with you beforehand so there are no surprises.

How long does a typical session last?

Each counseling session usually lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour. I strictly observe the 1-hour maximum to maintain the quality and focus of our discussion. Any remaining minutes in that time are used for documenting your case notes and creating a personalized treatment plan, so you receive clear, structured guidance after our conversation.
