Do I really need to answer everything in my data?
Yes! your age, address, educational attainment, religion and occupation can give us a clue about your illness. The moment you give us your data and your chief complaint we already have an idea of what's going on. This will make the consultation easier for both the doctor and and the patient.
How long do I need to wait to get a response to my booking request?
Responses vary from a few minutes to 24 hours, as the doctor may be assisting other patients. Please understand that the doctor, being human, also requires time for her own well-being to provide optimal care for you.
What happens if I do not show up for my appointed schedule?
Patients are considered 'NO SHOW' if they miss their scheduled consult without notice. A 15-minute grace period is allowed before categorization. If late beyond 15 minutes, proper assessment may be compromised. Patients unable to attend should promptly inform the doctor for rescheduling. Payments are non-refundable for NO SHOW patients. This policy ensures fairness to both our staff and other clients who may have been deprived of appointment slots
How long does a typical session last?
A typical session lasts around 30 to 45 minutes per patient. It can take longer depending on the case and needs of the patient. Follow up consultations may be shorter.
It's past my appointment time, is the consultation still going to proceed?
Each patient is given 15 minute grace period. Beyond that, the client will be considered as a NO SHOW and the consultation will no longer proceed.
I don't feel safe at my home. Can I do my consult in a public place?
I understand that some patients may feel that their safety and confidentiality is compromised at home, and may feel the need to find a safer place. Please inform me ahead of time if this happens. Kindly find a quiet place. Make sure your headset is working with the microphone intact to keep the confidentiality of our consult. You can bring one friend/trusted family member with you.
Which HMO's/Healthcards do you accept?
No HMO's for now, however certain HMO's like Pacific Cross Dollar account reimburses your psychiatric consultation payment. Check with your agent to see if your HMO covers consultation costs.
Do you issue Medical Certificates?
Yes. Take note that a medical certificate is a legal document affixed with my signature so there will be an additional charge of PHP 500 Medical certificates are not part of insurance coverage and shall only be given for specific valid reasons and after at least 3 consultation.
Can we just chat as a form of consultation? Can I turn off my video?
No. As humans, we may misinterpret the words that we read depending on our mood. This can be very dangerous as proper communication can be impaired. I also need to see the patient, hear how they talk, see their body language as these are a vital part of my assessment. Remember that this is being done for your own health and ensure your wellbeing.
What if the doctor does not respond within the guaranteed time?
Your request will be automatically cancelled by the system.
